In Downham Market College, we have a centre for Sixth Form learning. The  College has an atmosphere that is unique, with its spacious buildings and facilities.

Being a Sixth Form of over two hundred students, we can offer a very wide range of AS/A2 and Vocational courses with a proven record of success.

We continue to invest heavily in facilities for students. In addition to a programme of continual IT improvement students enjoy sole use of a cafeteria, common room, learning resource centre, library and spacious, well maintained grounds.


Student Authors

New this year we are introducing Student Authors who will be trained in managing and maintaining our school website.  This will provide an invaluable experience for the students by working on a real world site with real world audiences.  The school will benefit the school in return by having more people working on the website to provide more content.

Cars and parking

Students driving their own car to school are required to park their cars in the Howdale car park located off Howdale Road.   Please be aware that the school has no responsibility for this car park.  Students are strongly encouraged to take proper precautions over the safety of their car and its contents

16 -19 Bursary Fund

The new 16-19 Bursary fund is designed to help support those young people who face the greatest barriers to continuing in education or training post 16. Bursary funds may be used to pay for transport, educational visits, books and equipment.
