School Uniform
Pupils from Year 7 through to Year 11 wear school uniform, as we believe that it is both sensible and economic. Parents and carers, by accepting a place at the school, are agreeing that their children will wear full correct school uniform. The wearing of jewellery is strictly limited. A summary of the uniform expectations is as below.

From September 2011 the school shop will only keep a stock of school sweatshirts for emergency replacement only.

Before ordering your uniform we advise you to try uniform for size at the school shop before ordering on-line.
Uniform can be ordered from the comfort of your own home at anytime and can be delivered to the school or school shop FREE OF CHARGE or can be delivered to your home address (delivery fee applies).
Delivery to the school (for existing pupils) will be made to Resources on the Bexwell site during term time.
Delivery to the School Shop at Ryston during school holidays, (for those starting at DMHS or for existing pupils) ready for you to collect. Please check school shop holiday closure dates before selecting this option. You will be informed that you order has arrived. Please collect promptly as we do not have facilities for storage.
The School Shop is located within the Print Centre at our College site at Ryston End

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW
If you have chosen to have your your order delivered to school (term time only) or the school shop (school holidays) you must enter your delivery option into the comments box on the terms and conditions page. Doing this will ensure your order is accepted because you are requesting a delivery address that is different to the cardholder's address. Otherwise the order will not go through.

Important Please Note
The School Shop accepts the following methods of payment
Cheques Please make cheques payable to DMHS. IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CHEQUES From 30th June 2011 banks are withdrawing the cheque card guarantee scheme. If payment is made by cheque goods WILL be held until the cheque is cleared.
Cash Please DO NOT send cash through the post, as we cannot accept responsibility for any cash that goes astray
THE SCHOOL SHOP DOES NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD
COLLECTIONS You will be informed when your order is ready for collection. Please collect it promptly as we do not have facilities for storage
QUERIES If you have any queries concerning your order, or school uniform in general, then please call on 01366 389013 .
Please do not call the High School, as they will refer you to us.
We do our best to maintain the prices as per this form but we reserve the right to make changes prior to the expiry date of March 2011.
EXCHANGING UNIFORM Please contact the school shop - this includes purchase made online.
Exchanges can be made if:
Garment is faulty
If the item is faulty you will be asked to complete a returns form where details of the fault will be recorded before a replacement can be offered.
Garment size is incorrect but unworn
If the garment is the wrong size then a replacement will be offered providing the garment has not been worn.
Replacements cannot be given for items that have been worn unless they are faulty so please ensure you have the correct size before wearing it.
We are unable to exchange items if:
Garment has been worn
We will not exchange sweatshirts with chewed cuffs. This is not a design/manufacturing fault.
Garment is unworn but smells of cigarette smoke
You have changed your mind and want a refund (you may exchange for an alternative item)
If there is a genuine problem with a garment then there will be no hesitation in offering a replacement but we ask parents to remember that all items are sold at a price that allows us to cover our costs. The cost of any replacements when not genuine, have to be met by the school as the manufacturer will only refund garments with genuine design faults. We thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter.
Any pupil not in uniform for any reason on any given day MUST take a parental letter of explanation to his or her Year Head on arrival at school.
